I am trying to put in a command button for spell checker.

It opens the spell checker box but the box is blank.  If I go into spell checker through the menu tree it works.  What am I missing??

The spell checker checks the element you are in when you invoke it. In the case of a command button, you are in the command button, and there is no text to check.
