In going through the users guide, I have setup a mock users on one of the sample databases.

If I close the database or design without closing the application, when I go back to re-open it, the last users name and password are still in the "dialog box" which of course would allow anyone passing by to get in.  Is this a bug?  Or do we just need to remember you can't just closed the database you have to close out of Sesame as well.

It's not a bug. We keep the user name and password so you don't have to  keep typing it in as you perform different tasks. We do have it on our list that we need to provide a "logout" function or keystroke that will clear that password without your having to close Sesame.
