I'm 73 years old old and slowing down as a  learner. I have always been very comfortable with QA DOS. Now, I've handled the translation of my DOS files to Sesame after much work, had to delete all restrictions.  I have some issues:

(1) Can I still use commands like F8 to sort files?

(2) In QADOS I was able to store values like doctors' names, addresses, procedures and select them with ALT F8. Can I
do this with Sesame?

(3) Is there anyone in Delray Beach, FL who can help a slow learner to use Sesame properly?

You no longer need F8 because the Sort Spec is always available in the lower left corner of your screen. The instructions for sorting begin on page 229 of your User Guide. Basically, you simply click on those elements in the list by which you want to sort.

You can save and load specs using the Spec Manager. See page 224 of your User Guide.
