I am still trying out the trial version (still waiting for my copy to arrive) on Win 98 OS and I have encountered a problem with money fields in that any money value entered and saved reverts back to 0 value when I return to the record.

I initially thought I was doing something wrong with my programming statements, but found this even to be the case with the sample databases (Customer.db) where there are no programming statements.

I have isolated the problem to be related to regional settings - in My case English > South Africa.

If I set my regional setting to English > US or even UK it actually works perfectly, however I need to reinstall my trial version - as soon as I go back to South Africa setting the problem is back.

I have found a temp solution by setting to US and then just setting my currency to R instead of $.

I am a bit puzzled as to the reasons for this and that no one else seems to have noted this - Any idea's
