I translated a simple EMPLOYEE database from Q&A4 DOS.  I deleted the small lookup file used for MARITAL STATUS (SINGLE or MARRIED) and PAY PERIOD (HOURLY, DAILY, WEEKLY, SEMI-MONTHLY and MONTHLY), and created two combo boxes: one for MARITAL STATUS, and one for PAY PERIOD.
The form has a dark blue background.  I changed all the elements on the form light blue, using backfill color.  This is pleasing to the eye.
When running the application via PREVIEW APPLICATION, both the combo boxes seem to work properly, but their colors revert to backfill white.  All other elements on the form remain backfilled light blue.
What have I missed?

Combo boxes don't respect this setting. We'll likely be adding that to a future release.

I'm glad to know it was not something I had not done.
This way, I won't spend time continually trying.  I am glad to wait. Roll Eyes
