Converting Running Balances

I am converting (or translating) my first Q&A database to Sesame.  It is a fairly simple "checkbook" type program, with deposit and withdrawal entries.  When I run the report, it provides me with a running balance of each report.  I got the Q&A programming language from pages A-12 and A-13 of the Q&A Application Programming Tools Manual.  But when I translated, Sesame didn't like it, and did nothing with the running balance column.  Any suggestions?  Thanks...

Oops, meant to say that when I would run the report in Q&A, it provided me with a running balance for each bank account, not of each report.  Maybe this explains it a little better.  Anyone have ideas?

What didn't Sesame like about it? All programming is checked for errors before it is allowed to run. If an error is found, Sesame will not run any of the programming. Did Sesame find an error in the imported programming?
