Is there a way to check data formats in Sesame without using the supported restrictions?

I have a Postal/Zip Code and Country field in my form.  I want to be able to check that if the country=Canada, then the postal code should be in a letter-number-letter-number-letter-number format and if the country is something else, then a different restriction should be applied.
