failure to reconcile

I was able to reconcile the .dsr file and open it in Sesame.  However, (after I closed Sesame) i went back into Designer to make a change and reconcile it.  I received a "Failure while reconciling application: <filename> is in use".  I can open the .db file in Sesame, but cannot reconcile it in Designer.

Any clues?

Sesame will not reconcile to an open db. Make sure all clients and servers have closed the db before reconciling.

I closed Sesame, so does that not close the DB too?

Depends. You are in a client-server environment. If you close one client, but another client still has the db open, it will not close. Make sure that you do not have a copy of Sesame on any machine with the db open. If you are ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that this is not the case, SUnlock the db.
