Is there any programing of passing certain Key strokes or you Macro is the only way?

When you use @LoadMassUpdateSpec ( ) or @LoadRetrieveSpec ( ), it just Loads and one has to use <alt R> key to execute.  It does not make sense to just store a macro, load a macro and run a macro for one key.  I do not know about others but I am reluctant to use macro to record mouse clicks.

Instead of using Alt-R (which depends on which spec is being viewed), try using SelectTreeItem - to launch the loaded spec. Most of the "spec launching" commands appear under the "Results Commands" branch of the Command Tree.
