We have a 3 computer networked Office.  Running Win98/866 mhz/128mg

In a few weeks we're going to upgrade to Win XP.

Should I upgrade all 3 machines the same?  Or should I upgrade the one used for the server more?

Running two dbs....3.4mg and 7.5mg in size

In general, give the server as much memory as you can. In Sesame the server does most of the work and stores all of the data. The only times that the client can get memory "heavy" is when viewing a large number of records in Table View (Shift-F6) and when preparing very large reports.

Upgrading an 866mhz/128mb machine to XP is IMHO a downgrade.
It will run as slow as a dog with no legs.
So your upgrade will need to include a ram upgrade of at least another 128mb for each machine, and as mentioned in the previous post , as much as u can afford for the one you use as the server.
IMHO [again] you might be better off to consider w/2000 which is of the same era as your hardware.
