Getting rid of trailing "0's" in @number

I have converted a QA5 database to Sesame. One element contains a @number. Sesame has deposited a decimal followed by six "0's" following the existing unique number. I have tried unsuccessfully to get rid of the decimal and the trailing "0's." Everything obvious has been tried. At most all I need is a five digit number. Thanks for your help.
