opening form takes a while

Whilst in preview mode, under the Search/Update branch in the command tree, I click on a form, and it takes an awful long time to open up.  This particular form contains several subforms, so I don't know if that's a reason why it is taking roughly 14 secs to open the form. 

Thoughts?
