If you are converting Q&A files to Sesame, there is a known bug if the number of fields in the Q&A file exceeds 511.  For those that do not know how to determine the number of fields, open the Q&A file in Design;ReDesign.  Each field is numbered AA->AZ, Aa->Az and so on.  If the last field in your file is numbered Ja then you have at least 495 fields.  You could have more if there was not enough room in a field on the screen to store two characters.  Q&A will also use A -z also in this case.  I have been assured that this problem is solved in 1.0.2.  If you have this situation and cannot remove any fields, you will have to wait on the delivery of 1.0.2 to convert any such files. 

The file appears to convert correctly but in my case, I could not add or update any records in the Sesame file.
