Deleting an entire database

??? In Q&A 4 for DOS, I have developed some simple "Test" databases, using different schemes.  When done with them, I would delete them by going to SEARCH-UPDATE, and when the LIST OF FILES screen would appear, I would select the database to be deleted and simply press F3 and YES to make it go into the sky, (aka: bitbucket).

This old retiree is unable to find such a simple way to delete a small test database, such as MYFIRST in Sesame.

Am I missing something?

Do you want to delete the entire application or just the records in the database?

Just go in windows explorer, go into c:\sesame\Data folder, click on name header that will sort the file names by name and choose four files namely .db, .dat, .dsr and .ddt.  It is equally simple ---select those four files and hit delete just once like you use with Q&A.

Shortcut for selecting multiple files in windows explorer with using <ctrl>, <Shift> and <ctrl> & <Shift> reduces number of keystrokes significantly.

Good suggestion.  I tried it, and it works well.
Thanks  Smiley
