F10 does nothing

I am in Add mode in Sesame and pressing F10 or the Save in the command tree does nothing. It doesn't save my record or advance to the next. 

Any clues? Thanx

Have you changed anything in the record? Add won't add a blank record.

If this is not the case, do you have NotifyForm set.  That flag will prevent Save.

I have modified the record and even set notifyform=0 (to allow for saving) and still nothing.

Something is wrong with this picture, but I can't tell what. Can you send us an example of an application that does this?

FSGROUP,

I received your application. Which of your 10 forms is not saving records? If it is one of the subforms, are you using it by itself, or on the Main form?

I was able to save a Main record.

Also, the password you provided does not allow Designer access, which makes it difficult to determine what is going on.

The Main form is not saving records.  I went to Add mode and modified the fields and nothing.  I resent you the application and a user/psswd w/ designer privileges.

Several of us have tested this and are able to save records using the Main form, once the mandatory restrictions are met.  You require a Last Name, and an Agent.

Perhaps the Restriction error is coming up behind your Sesame window?

If this is not the problem, you'll need to give me very specific steps. What exactly should I type in which elements before pressing F10 to make the save fail?

I get no error messages at all.  I open the application, go to Add Data, type in something for Last Name, hit F10.  I tried the navigation errors and Save on the command tree. Same thing - nothing.  Even the navigation record is blank (ie., no "1 of 1").  I am logged on as the user/psswd i sent.

This should not be allowing your record to Save, because you have not selected an Agent. You have a mandatory restriction requiring you to select an Agent. The error message may be appearing behind the Sesame window. Next time, after pressing F10, try minimizing the Sesame window and see if there is an error window behind it.

Try filling out both a Last Name and selecting an Agent. See if you can Save the record then.

FSGROUP,

I received the second copy of your app. When I fill out the Last Name and press F10, the error message appears telling me that I have not met restrictions. I've posted a screen shot. Let me know how this compares to what you see.
