under the Property Editor on the Color tab, i see the option for changing text color, but what about Fill or Label Color?

You can't set Fill color on Reports. Label and Text color are the same thing in Reports.

If this is a Freefrom report, depending on what you need to do, you can probably find a way to manage it by embedding HTML into your report. You won't be able to alter the background color of the Report itself. That will still be White.

I believe that Inside Sesame has an article planned on this topic in an upcoming issue.

Interesting. I asked because in the Property Viewer, the back/fill color for a ValueBox on the Report had a back/fill of black. I don't know how it came to be that way, so I wanted to revert back to a white fill.

The back/fill property is ignored when the Report is run. It should have no effect on your Report.

Because you're seeing some sort of minor bug in Designer itself. We have somebody trying to replicate it. Once we figure out why it is happening, we'll make it stop.
