Boxes on Reports

Hi

I've got a couple of reports on a database translated from Q&A. Every item on the report is surrounded by a box - greyish in my browser and black when printed. Is this peculiar to a translated report or have I done something to make this happen?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter,

It came from Q&A I had several reports that had boxes but I never got Sesame to duplicate the boxes in a Sesame report.

Peter,

Can you send it into Support so we can look at them? If so, please list which report(s) we should look at. It would also be helpful to have the original Q&A database so we can translate in the debugger.

Boxes around elements on Q&A reports?

Were these translated from Q&A Windows version vs. DOS version?

Only other way I could thing of would be some comlex programming for line draws in Derived Columns usng @Text() function.

Hello Peter,

If you wish to remove the boxes follow these steps.
Open Sdesigner
Open your Report
Click where it says "Group Body"
Set the Border Size to Zero (If it says zero leave it)
Click OK
Click Save Layout Design

If you wish to add the boxes to other reports all you have to do is set that border size to be something greater than zero. A value of 1 is comparable to what you are seeing now.

Peter,

Thank you for sending the samples. I've corrected the problem in the Q&A Translator and the fix will be in the next release.
