Hi -

I have designed an extremely simple report; however, I am having problems with the calculation I need in the report footer.  It just isn't there.

The report consists of only two layout elements: 

Name                          Paid

John Doe                     $15.00
Mary Doe                     $15.00
John Smith                   $20.00

What I need in the report footer is a 'count' of the number of names, and a sum of the money collected.

In report designer I added the following layout elements to the Report Footer:

Count
[Total # of Subscriptions]
Name

Sum
[Total Amount Paid]
Paid

The 'visible' option is set to true.

The report is fine, however, the summary calculations do not appear.  Any suggestions as to what I am overlooking?

I thought I had tried it in the group footer and it didn't work.  I just ADDED it to the group footer, though, and left a copy in the report footer - the calculation worked. 

Do I need to leave it in both places?

Also, the 'label' did not print.  Can't I have something like:  Total:  preceding the calculation?

In any event, thanks for getting me this far.  The calculations were critical.
