Thanks again Ray. 

My first reaction was "Where does it say '-1' will print at the end of First?".   Then I realized what was happening.  vX is the current position, and -1 just "does a backspace" type of operation?

The explanation re the font size confirms some unwritten thoughts that I had about the use of fonts and spacing. 

And finally, thanks for the "...." formula that Spencer would be asking you for.  I just happened to have the opportunity to try tnis out before he did.

Not a backspace operation at all. A value of -1 in the XPosition will cause it to print right after the last bit of text that was printed. It says it on the bottom of page 185 in the 1.0 Sesame Programming Manual or on page 136 of the 1.1 Sesame Programming Manual. vX is the position for the start of where the name prints, it does not increase to the end of the name.
