Quote:Bob,
Once the other client closed out the application were you able to reconcile right away or did you have to unlock the application first?
Your client could see the changes to the DB file but no other client could? Unless you were in a different DB file or not connected to the server this is unheard of. Which computer is this client, the one that could see the changes to the DB, located on?
How do you start Sesame Designer? If it is from the icon, what is the target for your icon and what is the start in directory?

I don't remember having to unlock the application first. Seems to me it went right through.
I have been trying to figure out why it didn't reconcile myself, doesn't make any sense at all, I can certainly see where you're comming from.
The client machine that I am working from, is on a wireless network, about twenty feet from the server.
"C:\Sesame\Data\sdesigner.exe -client Front"
is a direct copy from the icon on this machine
The serving machine uses the same string, minus the
-client
Is it possible that if the reconcilliation could not be done, that it might default to another copy of the file somewhere on this machine?
Getting scared now, the backup is several days old....
