Field & Layout Order Within the Designer

I notice that field & Layout orders (not navigation order) are displayed in the order that the fields or layouts are created.

For example, in managing a database and changing, copying, deleting, etc.  a field name, or layout name (reports), I would have expected them to appear in alpha or in the order that you navigate through them.

Is this supposed to be this way and/or are there plans to fix this ?

Thanks,

Louis

It naturally landed this way. We are looking into sorting these various lists differently in the next major release.

You get used to it given how much time is spent in the designer, but lI am ooking forward to a different order.

Thanks,

Louis

In my case, I like it the way it is.
Why, is because the LE's I use most, are at the top of the form, and thus, at the top of the lists.
I agree that when I do want to use the forms at the bottom, and they are not in any order, finding it can take a bit, but, it doesn't move, so, next time I look for it, it's in the same place on the list.
