How do you format a number to display a fixed number of digits?  For example "9" to be displayed as "00009"  Is programming the only way to do this? Undecided

Yes, you would have to do it in programming. Also the element would have to be bound to Text instead of Number as Number elements strip the leading zeros.

If the element was bound to number and you entered 00009 as soon as you left that element the value would become just 9.
