I have an application with an invoice form and a line item form.
I set up the invoice form to have the line item form as a subform with relational linking.

I  exported data from Q&A then imported into another form that containred invoice information which included a variable number of line items and then selectively exported line item information into an ASCII file that was later imported into the line item form. A similar procedure was performed for the invoice data. Thus I have both forms filled with good  data that I hoped would display when I searched the invoice form. It didn't happen. Each form displays the correct information for that form but the invoice form does not show the line items.
Were my expectations incorrect or did I do something wrong? I thought this procedure would match the records
and combine them on the invoice form.
