Report Command Button & @LoadRetrieve

I have various report command buttons on a tab within my database that put a call into @LoadRetrieveSpec.

Recently a user was in a record updating info and that record happened to be the first record retrieved in the report I was running.

What happened was when I ran the report, the retrieve spec loaded and "re-freshed" the record the user was in.  By this I mean the changes previously made but not saved were wiped out.

Is there a way to run the report without affecting the user ?

Also, would this be solved by putting a call to @save ?  The problem with this is that the user may not necesarily want to save some changes.

If possible, I would prefer that users not be impacted in any way by another user running a report.

Thanks,

Louis

Hello Louis,

Could you send your App to Support@lantica.com, along with some brief steps, So I can replicate this here and see what is causing it.
