One of those days...

Some days you sit down to something you've been meaning to do for months or years, having put it off for fear of its complexity or difficulty, only to discover that it was much easier and simpler to implement than you'd imagined.

Other days, on the spur of the moment you take on something you wouldn't imagine would be difficult, figuring you could spare such a simple task a few minutes, only to discover, after ten hours of driving your head into the wall, that you are no closer to finishing than you were fifteen minutes after starting...sigh...

I hate going to bed feeling like I haven't accomplished anything.

Well Bob, its really a too way street. Knowing that the developers are listening to you (not just you, but all of the users) makes your job easier. Knowing that I'm not working in a vacuum, or completely dependent on a marketing department to tell me what's going on, makes my job easier.

In any case, today went a lot better. I'm was still working on the same feature (paged table printing), but a new day brought a new approach and it fell in a lot easier.
