Mass Update Spec - Crashes

I'm trying to save an Mass Update spec. I follow the guided procedures:
1. Run a search to obtain a result set.
2. Prepare the mass update spec you want to use.
3. From the Search/Update menu, select Open Spec Manager.
4. The Spec Manager displays, showing Copy as the type of spec, and the
Load tab active.
5. Change the spec type to Mass Update.
6. Click on the Save tab.
7. Click in the Name box and type a name for the mass update.
8. Click in the description box below the name and type a description for the
mass update. (This is optional.)
9. Click on the Save button when done.
10. Close the Spec Manager.

As soon as I click on the Save button (#9) the program crashes and I have to unlock the application to gain entry once again.

Any solution??

Peter

Hello Peter,

Are you by any chance specifying in the Mass Update Spec window elements that do not have Mass Update programming in them?

If so this is a bug in 1.1.3 that has been fixed. In the mean time do not set the P next to any of your elements listed in the spec window. When you type programming into an Element's Mass Update event, Sesame will automatically add the "P" next to that element's name.

If you need me to explain some more, just ask, I will be more than happy to explain.
