Hi Mark!

It is good to hear that a built in webserver is in the works. Can I ask why it is the least likely feature to make it into 2.0? Is this because of the amount of work or difficulty thereof ? Or is it a matter of priority?

The amount of work involved in testing and documenting is very high. Getting Sesame more "web happy" is a very high priority.

Are you building the webserver from scratch or  trying to modify  something already out there to be apart of  Sesame?

It is a very simple web server built from scratch to work in conjunction with existing web servers. It supports http GET and POST requests, but does not support SSI, SSL, or server side scripting (PHP, Perl). It is very specific in its relationship to Sesame data and the Sesame data server. It should make it very easy to create a web pages that can serve Sesame data, search the records - returning results, and post/edit records.
