Ray -

53 % of it is s-l-o-w-l-y on it's way and the other 47% will, I imagine, s-l-o-w-l-y follow.  lol

Thanks!

Hi -

First, thanks for all the "welcome backs."  I appreciate it.

Ray, as for the log file, I thought it had gone to you this morning.  I disovered a little while ago; however, that it is still sitting in my outbox.  I tried sending it to you again and it seems to reach 95%, fails, and starts all over.  In order to be able to send other outgoing mail, I have to delete the e-mail I was trying to send.

If you are still interested in seeing the file, can you think of any other way I can send it?

Hmmmm - I have now deleted the e-mail with the log file and discovered that it was tying up my incoming and and outgoing messages all day long.  No wonder it has been so quiet here.  lol

I was astounded by all you had done in the Arcade.  VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! After I complete Erika's advanced S-basic training, I want tutoring from you.

Now, I gotta go run and answer a dozen or so e-mails.

Hello Spencer,

Try putting the log file in a compressed Zip folder and sending it that way.

I can't take all the credit for the Arcade. I had a lot of help from Ben, one of the interns here. Most of the images that you see are all his creations and a great deal of the games were his ideas. If you ever come up here for one of the classes, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about any of the programming in there after the class is done.

When you have a second. Go to the second page of the main menu in the arcade, and click the Play Intro button. A few things that were hidden will now appear.

The real question Spencer is did you realize it’s a big block in the tractor?

Ray -

I downloaded an evaluation copy of Win.Zip (I really haven't had much use for it in recent years), zipped the log file and tried to send it.

There is a copy of the e-mail in my "sent" folder; however, I believe I saw a message (that appeared and quickly disappeared) that said it was unable to send mail because it contained a virus.

Sooooooo

(1) If you received the file, be careful with it.

(2) In case there is a virus, I am removing it from my computer

Clearly, the log file was the source of my problem and simply deleting it would have caused a new one to be created.  The bottom line, is that everything is working just fine now, and I am very happy with the outcome and the "learned lesson" regarding the log file.

Bob -

I don't have a clue about what your tractor comment means - Sorry!

Ben -

I didn't know of your involvement with the arcade (for that matter - in all honesty - I didn't even know you existed.  lol)  So, congrtatulations to you, too, on an incredible job.

Ray & Ben -

I would like to see the lights on the marquee "flash" and given all that you have done would imagine it is possible.

P.S.

Ray -

I just discovered an e-mail in my out-box that was being "bounced" to the sender (from my "junk" mail folder).  That one had a virus message and perhaps that is what I had seen earlier.  Maybe it does not apply to the (now removed from my computer) log file.  Smiley

Sorry Spencer I was just messing with Ray about the little tractor that pulls the menu on the arcade.

One of Rays many interests and talents (besides his love of Frank Zappa tunes) includes working on tractors for tractor pulls and a nice big block engine is his choice of power plant.

I thought the arcade game was just an incredible achievement and an excellent way to showcase the power of Sesame.

Hello Robert,

No Zappa.

Right now it is a small block in the tractor. Unless of course you want to send me that 454 that you have sitting in your garage. Grin

Hello Foster,

The Arcade was provided on the 2005 User's Conference CD. If you would like a copy of the Sesame Arcade just send an e-mail to Support@Lantica.com and I will send it to you.

Ray -

I was wondering whether you ever received the compressed log file I sent you and, if so, whether you were able to determine the root of the problem.

As I said previously, everything is working just fine so this is no longer a concern to me.  I'm just curious.

Thanks!

Hello Spencer,

I never did receive the Zip File. I did however take a guess at what may have been wrong and put it some more error checking to try and prevent this from happening in the future.

Ray -

Sorry that you didn't get the file, but sounds like simply identifying the problem might have been helpful.

Thanks!
