Renaming fields problem

When I change the name of a field using "Manage a Database" and "Manage fields" in Sesame Designer, it works all right except that, after doing that, when I try to use the Spec Window in Sesame Plus, I find there the old names of the fields.
What do I have to do to change the names of the fields in the Spec Window?

The Spec Window shows LE names, not underlying field names.

Then lets rephrase my question.
How do I change the LE names that appear in the Spec Window to reflect the changes in the field names.

1. Open your Form in Design mode.
2. Select the element you want to rename.
3. On the Other tab of the Property Editor, change the Name to whatever you want and click the set button.
4. Save the Form.

Instructions for renaming an element start on page 113 of the 1.1 User Manual.

Thanks. I had been renaming fields using "Manage Database" and that works all right except for the Spec Window.

Field names and LE names are not the same thing. For example, you canhave two LE's bound to the same underlying field.
