Today I added the regex() construct to all of the places in Sesame 2.0 where you can use a Q&A search spec string. So now, all of the "X command" (@XLookup, XLookupSourceList, etc...), the @Rest commands, and the restriction spec, can all use the regex() construct. So you can use regex, pretty much anywhere you can specify a search or pattern matching.

I also gave @XLookupSourceList and @XLookupSourceListAll the ability to search in Q&A .DTF files, like @XLookup can.
