Corrupted file

Aside from sending a file in to Support to be looked at, is there a way to check if it's been corrupted, or do a "recover"? We continue to have issues opening one of our files. Same one - many times.

Thanks,
Fred

Hello Fred,

What message are you getting?
Is it one line or two lines?

It was the one-line "unable to open file" - but we resolved the issue. Somehow our licensing s_conf.cnf file must have been overwritten and was only showing one license instead of seven. Not sure how that happened. Thanks for the response!

Hello Fred,

The one line error just means that the file is locked. It does NOT mean the file is corrupted. It means that either someone else has that file open that is not running on the same Sesame server(or standalone) or the computer that had that application loaded was suddenly shut down, most commonly from a power outage, and Sesame was closed before the file could be unlocked.
