s_conf file confusion

I am looking for s_conf.cnf file but the one I see is named s_conf.  Is there a typo somewhere or do I need to rename this file?  Using Sesame 1.1.3 on Windows XP Pro computer.  But the server where the file is located is Windows  2K.  Am I looking at the wrong file in C:\Sesame folder?

If you are viewing the files in Explorer, do you have the view set to show file extensions?

Windows is unpleasantly aggressive about hiding this particular extension for some reason. You also need to go in Folder Options to the File Types tab. Select the CNF extension. Click the Advanced button. Check the Always Show Extension box.

It thinks that it is the configuration file for its built in dialer program (remember that?)

NowI can see the file.  thank you to everyone.  Explorer was already set to show extensions.  But doing what Hammer said is what fixed this.  I clicked on Advanced, found the cnf extensions and put the checkmark in the box to always show the file extension.
