If anyone wants to contribute to a good cause, the National Kidney Foundation Blogathon starts July 29.

A friend of mine will be at her computer for 24 solid hours blogging for a friend of hers who is a kidney patient.

At the conclusion of Blogathon, you'll receive an automatically generated e-mail from Blogathon reminding you how much you pledged and where to send it. You'll send it directly to the National Kidney Foundation, not to her or the organizers of Blogathon.

She'll be blogging in the kitchen this year, taking recipe requests and such.
