Before I spend too much time on this on the front end -- is it possible to make one combined report from two seperate forms within a single application?

If the Forms are attached to the same database, then, yes. Otherwise, you can do this through the use of X-commands.

Great! I guess my next question would be, how do I access the elements on the subform? I've added a table view onto my current freeform report, but when I go to add a value box I only see one of the element names listed from my second form along with all the elements from the main form. Both forms ARE in the same database. They are linked - natural parent/child.

Thanks for all your patience and support on this. I'm only beginning to scratch the surface on reports, and have a ton of requests for different types of reports.

Form/Subform is two different databases, not the same database. What you need is a subreport.

Make a report on the child database. Then add a subreport element to the report on the parent database and tell it to show the report you made on the child database.

Well that clears up my MISunderstanding about Databases and Forms. Thanks.

I've done as you suggested - created the report in the second database, but when I go to add the subreport I'm not sure how to access the report I just created. Nothing happens when I click on the Bind Element To box.

The subreport does go into the Group Body of the second view, right?

I think we're close!
