Problem number & currency  fields internation

Print Post Print Post
I have problems with the Currency and number fields displaying something like "8.000.000.000.000" instead of "8"

Probably this issue is because of international settings of our country (which is The netherlands)

Changing the way Sesame displays numbers and currencies in admin, or changing the display settings for the fields itself won't help.
I can not find a correct setting in Sesame to display numbers and currency fields correctly.

How to solve this issue, and will the issue be solved in the v2.0 of Sesame?

Hello Rene,

Open the Windows Control Panel
Open the Regional and Language Options
On the Regional Options Tab, How are the values for Currency and Number formatted?

The formatting is opposite the US/english, for both numbers and currencies the settings are:

Decimal sign is: "," (comma)
Digit grouping symbol is "." (dot)

You check this your self by selecting 'DUTCH' settings for regional settings.

thanks in advance

Hello Rene,

Set a custom format on your currency and number elements.
Be sure to set the Decimal Seperator as a "," comma.
Save and preview

To check that this worked you will have to type in a number on a new record. Old data may still be displayed the same way.
