My biggest question is, can sesame run well under Windows Server 2003 64-bit version?
It should do as well as any other 32 bit program.

Sesame can only benefit from up to 4 gig in linux and 2 gig in Windows - because it is 32 bit. But having the additional RAM will only help in that it will then be less likely that Sesame will have to share any part of that giggage with any other program

If client/server, yes - very much so.

Only a bit. Sesame is not very disk heavy, unless you are swapping memory.

Thanks for any advice.

Try to get the fastest bandwidth to your memory as you can afford. Plentiful, fast memory, with a fast path to the memory (not typical of PCs), will bring the most benefit. A spritely network won't hurt a bit either.
