Copying Layout to new Database?

Is it possible to copy an existing layout which has many common characteristics with a layout I want to develop into a new database?  The "Manage a Database" tree in designer makes it simply to copy a layout within a database, but is there a way to copy into a new one?  Thanks.

Hello,

What you can do is make a copy of your entire application, trim out all databases but the one that has the form that you need. Then open that new application in Sdesigner, and rename the Database, Form, and Reports(or you can delete the reports if you won't need them) Reconcile the changes back to the new DB file and then Merge that DB file, into your main Application.

Kind of a tricky two-step, but it worked.  Thanks!
