Remove empty programming from drop-down list?

For a while I was experimenting with On Element Immediate Change but found a way to do what I wanted in a manner I liked better with On Element Change.  So I deleted the programming in the OEIC events.  However, those (now empty) selections still appear in the right-hand drop-down list of the Programming Editor.  Is there a way to make them go away?

Should go away the next time you open the editor. It checks on opening.

Nope, it's been pretty persistent.  The OEIC selection stays on the drop-down list, but when I choose it the program field is empty.  Maybe it's because I used a text editor to delete the programming?

In the Sesame Programming Editor, go to where it says the programming is. Press Ctrl-A to select all. Delete.
Close the Programming Editor and save the layout. That ought to do it.
