It's taking 30-40 minutes to sort 4000 records by 2 fields? Something is wrong with this picture.

For example, the ZipCode database in Samples has over 43000 records. I can do a "worst case" sort on two fields on a weak computer in about 20 seconds. Normal case takes less than a second. 5000 records in "worst case" takes about 3 seconds.  5000 records at a normal case takes less than a second.

Is anything else taking a very long time?
