Want Training at the Conference?

Hey all,

A group of you have indicated to me that you would be interested in a training class at the BWI Hilton on the day before or after the Conference. A "while we're there anyway" sort of thing.

If you do have an interest, please post here or PM me and let me know if you want the day before or the day after and what topic would interest you.

I will have to sign contracts with the hotel to make this happen, so please don't request the class if you aren't certain you'll attend if it does get scheduled.

Let me know!

I am always interested in training, so sign me up.

I vote for the day after the conference.  The conference will introduce me to a lot of new stuff and I know I'll have a lot of questions.  Before the conference I won't know what I don't know, but afterwards I'll have a better idea.

What do you estimate the number of hours would be?  A half-day, full day, open ended?

Probably a 3/4 day. I suspect that people will want to be out by 2PM or so to get flights.

I think a Training class before or after would be terrific. Every class of yours that I have attended I left thinking “That was the best money I ever spent”. I love your training center in Garrettsville, OH but it sure would be convenient to attend a class while already in Baltimore for the conference.

I am sure any class you offer will be worth the time and money. I know with the limited amount of time available at the conference you Lanticans will only be able to scratch the surface in showing Sesame 2 features, so the thought of a class showing tips and tricks or just the basic use of the incredible new features Sesame 2 has to offer the day after its released sure would sound like a winner to me.

Thanks

I would be interested in additional tips & techniques and/or how to sessions. Probably on Monday. I would like to get a flight out by about 1700. Hopefully a session wouldn't be too much of an overload after all the material at the conference. If Friday is voted most popular I could also make that.

I pushed for having the conference in G-Ville.

Just a note: There would be an additional fee for the extra class to cover the meeting room and suchlike, if that changes anybody's mind.

Erika, I'd like to take some kind of training while I'm there.  Monday would be good for me.  Anything from real basic (I haven't worked much with Sesame) on up - as someone else said, I always learn something from you.

I ran the NY Q&A Users Group with Spencer years ago and was good at Q&A so I don't think it will take too long to pick this up.  I will be looking for a job in the next year and would love to find a place I could work on Sesame.

Hey all,

I haven't gotten enough responses to justify the additional session, so I'm not going to schedule anything. If you have specific questions, let us know. One of us might be able to work it into our Conference presentation.
