Importing Formatted text

I believe that I have seen something about this somewhere, but I can't find it.  I am importing data fields that include paragraphs.  When it gets exported to ASCII out of Q&A and then imported to Sesame, I lose the formatting.  Please direct me to the plan for taking care of this.

I did not see anything addressing to this problem but It could be managed somehow. The problem is the records are separated by carriage returns, so if there is any data that contains carriage return, throw off the import.

Before importing the data from Q&A you can replace carriage return with some ascii character not used in the text. After doing that import the data in Sesame and replace that ascii character with @NL and <tab> if you want to make a nice paragraph.

This is general outline. I am sure there must be a better way to handle it than this.

Thanks.  I also found Tom Marcellus' article in the January 07 Inside Sesame that was right on point.
