Visibility( ) use on Non bound box

I have a set of elements that become visible after pressing a command button. I wanted to make them stand out more so I added a box through my element layout adder, set it to rounded and filled the back color to a yellow hilite. It looked great. When I went to add my Visibility( ) statement in the program editor to make it show only when elements were visible I realized it was not available on my element selector lists. I renamed it, re-created it, moved it off the tab and a dozen other things before realizing none of my boxes were selectable.

Can I not control visibility on this element? I must be overlooking something!
What am I forgetting?

Thanks

HI Robert

Can't try now, but if visibility is not working, can you you change fill and text colors to match background?

You can change the visiblity on box elements through programming. You'll need to get the name from the Other tab of the Property editor.

Thanks

I new it worked in the past. I just am already so comfortable using my NEW INCREDIBLE programming editor tools that when it was not selectable on any of my lists I never thought about just typing it in my command manually.

I'll see what I can do about getting Static Elements added to the list of elements in the List Browser.

On one condition....

NO ZAPPA!  Grin
