I have a user that is using Sesame 1.1.2 and he's getting a database failed to open error.  It never even tries to load the database.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

When Sesame gets improperly shut down the application that it has open becomes locked. This is a harmless condition. To unlock a locked application follow these steps

Click File
Click Server Administration
Log in (username: admin    password: hello)
On the unlock application tab double click on your application
Click Exit
Click File->Open Application
Double Click on your application

Also when he gets a chance he will want to upgrade to 1.1.5. It is a free upgrade and can be downloaded from the Lantica website.

Unfortunately, that was not the problem.  Apparently he has had this problem before and actually had to send in some files for you guys to repair.

Hello,

Have him zip up the DB and DAT files, along with the s_log0000.log from C:\Sesame and send them to support@lantica.com. We'll have a look at them as soon as they get here.

How many computers do you have running Sesame?
Which computer is running Sesame Server?

I believe it's loaded onto a couple of computers but only one is trying to access it at the moment.  The DB is on one of our servers.
