Import Problem

I'm trying to Import 16 elements in from an EXCEL.csv file.  I get an error message.  I have no problem importing the first 12 elements.  When I attempt 13 or more, I get this error message:  Number of fields in ASCII File C:\Documents & Settings\Jim\Desktop\ToSesame.csv on line 1 does not match number specified: (16)
Am I doing something wrong?  Thanks for any help you might suggest.

Jim

Jim,

This is usually caused either by:
1. Specifying a different number of fields to import than you actually have in your file.
2. Having something like quote marks in your data.

Take a look at the data in that thirteenth column and see if there is anything weird about it.

Jim,

I have had this problem when I have a blank line in my CSV file. It would work until it hit the blank spot and then give me an error. I used to just take a Excel file that was given to me and save as csv and then import. I have learned over time to quickly scroll through the csv file and look for oddities, especially empty rows.
