i have a form layout with many elements.  i would like to change the names of most of them.  i found the form attribute table, but can't edit it, and figured out how to save it as a text file.  is there a way to import this file back in if i edit it. or some other way to edit the layout without having to click on each element and change name in property editor.

There is a box marked R next to the Name box in the Property Editor. The R stands for Range. If you type a Name and enter a number in R, it will rename your selected elements using a combination of the two. For example, say you have 10 elements selected. If you type "Phone" in the Name box and 1 in R, it will automatically rename the selected elements Phone1, Phone2, Phone3, etc...
