Thinking of purchasing a Mac computer..........is there anyway to run Sesame on a non PC type computer??

I don't use a Mac, but I understand you can use something called BootCamp to boot into a copy of Windows (or Linux). Or you can use two software products called Parallels or VMWare to run Windows (or Linux) in  a "Virtual Machine".

I suspect that the Linux version of Sesame would run just fine under OS X.  It appears that you just need to have a version of X11 running.  Here's a couple of links I googled (linux applications mac):
