Hello!

I have one new application developped. I cannot understand why the search mode have  no records.
I don't have any Defaut search, the Programming is deleted , The Subform taked away, Anyway i get no records to see in the  search-mode!
I can however always grasp new records and can store (?)

Does somebody know these phenomenon ?

Thank you very much for your help.

If you are working with a new application, there really should not be any records to retrieve unless you had previously added them in Preview Mode in Designer. Are you able to retrieve the records that you added in Add Data mode in Sesame?

What changes did you make in Designer before creating the new application?

Are you seeing this behavior in the same application that you are referring to here: http://www.lantica.com/Forum3/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1213043270/4#4

If they are different applications please send them both in and we will have a look at them.

The problem you were running into with searching in this application was caused by the way you had setup your Menu Button element (Auswahl). It is recommended that you make the first choice in your menu button either '..' or leave it blank. This will allow you to retrieve all of your records. The way it is currently setup is preventing you from retrieving records that do not contain 'Kunde' or 'Alle'.

Page 277 in the 2.0 User Guide mentions how to avoid the situation you were in with the Menu Button and searching.
