Reparenting Natural Records

Hi--
I've used natural linking between my main records and its sub records.  Now, unfortunately, I've produced 74 orphans in the subform by copying and pasting.  Is it possible to link the orphans with the parent form so they can be happy again?
Thanks.
Nate

Oops--looks like it can't be done (this, from reading the User Guide: novel idea).
My hope is to replace a deleted form which had 74 subforms.  I've tried exporting it from a backup of the database, but end up with 74 parent forms (ASCII lines) and 74 subforms.  How can I improve this?
Thanks twice!
Nate

Nate,

If there is a matching value between the parents and the subs, you can use the newer tools to easily retrieve your orphaned subrecords, then reparent them. See pages 10-11 of the errata document.
