page break in reports

I have the following command in on print in a report

PGBREAK = "<p>&nbsp;</p><div style='page-break-before:always'></div>"

This works fine in Sesame 1 but not in Sesame 2. After months we are still trying to convert but with one thing resolved another pops up.
This is just the latest. What change needs to be made?

Thanks for any assistance.

Your code works for me in Sesame 2.0.6. I assume that you know you will only see the page breaks in the browser's Print Preview or on paper, but not in the regular browser window.

Make sure that the value box, named "PGBREAK" in your case, is in the correct group footer. (i.e. you usually will want it in the group footer that corresponds to the group header that contains your column headers.)

Check out pages 7 & 8 of the July 2008 issue of Inside Sesame. There is a Help Desk section titled "Page Breaks in Reports Printed to HTML Preview".

Thanks for the reply Carl. The report is a straight translation from Sesame 1 where it works just fine. When printing to paper there is no page break as there was in 1.1.4. I am using 2.0.6 I'll check Inside Sesame tomorrow. The HTM extension is the rundll.exe Ray gave to me many moons ago.
