using natural link in lookup

Erika

I have a subform on a form that is used to collect data. Since it was used on the main form I did not fill any sub record elements with first name, last name and some other key information. Now we have found a need for users to search directly from the subforms database, However I need certain info from the main form. From this point forward I am filling the needed info at time of subrecord creation.

I now need to update all previous records. I thought I remember in one of the online sessions you showed a technique that used the internal natural link to get the data from a subrecords parent.

Am I imagining this? If I am correct can you please show me the code you used.

Thanks

I'm not going to be in the office for a few hours, but look at @XResultSetParent.
